Because on the other side, the grass is greener

Assalamualaikum wbt
This morning I was shocked when watching video about the hijrah of Sham Kamikaze, the guitarist who I admire the most for his talent. Subhanallah..Up till today Allah had never stopped in showing us the lights that shine on anyone He chooses, and at times it happens to someone that we'd never thought of. Allah is great. Thinking about this, actually there's nothing is miraculous nor impossible about the nur because it may be bestowed to anyone even for all of us. If we choose to better ourselves, to become a better Muslim, and the ways are always opened.Everyone has the equal potential to secure a place in Jannah. Who had expected that someone whose life is surrounded by music, singing, dancing, entertainment that obviously far away from Islam had whole-heartedly changed for the sake of eternal happiness in akhirat. I believe that for Sham, this is the best decision he had ever taken in his life. His story makes me ponder how wrong it is to judge people from their external appearance. We can't simply label people, say that the person is A, he doesn't pray,  his hair is dyed, bigmouth, has a lower status in the society,  or whatever. The person still worth if we show him the right way. During the Prophet's pbuh time, He had caused Allah's rebuke until Abasa (80) was revealed. The story was about how a blind  man, Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum came to the Prophet while He was busy teaching a prestigious group of Qurays about Islam. Rasulullah had turned him away because Abdullah arrived untimely and spoke abruptly to him. It might also caused by the difference of social power which somehow affected the prophet's attention. However, in the 'eyes' of Allah everyone deserves respect from one and another. It is a big mistake to judge people, really. Treat everyone equally regardless who they are in a respectful manner.. If there is certain quality of that person that can make you feel irritated, think about his or her adorable attitude. Same goes to hijab. We wear hijab but it does not mean that we are terrorist. The only power who has the absolute right to judge is no one but Allah swt

Sincerely,
