The Royal Wedding

5.31 pm
Laptop is already on my lap, getting hotter than it used to, Microsoft Word is opened, Google Chrome is waiting with rows of tabs (partly academic-related) for other websites. Everything is just perfect for me to continue doing my work. Nevertheless, my eyes are still focused on The Royal Wedding- Daily Mirror Magazine- reading how the love struck between the Prince and Kate, the future Queen although when it comes to their life background.they are world's apart.  As if fairy tale does exist in real, a commoner can marry someone of a very high profile. Anyway, miracles happen as long as the faith is there.Allah will grant you more than what you wish if only you could manifest your desire. =)

Coming back to the royal wedding, we are going to watch the parade in London, with God's willing..!! Suffice to make me grateful, even though I won't have chance to watch Olympic games live from here next year.
Hurry up Friday! I am very much enthused to be part of the historic day, standing among the hundred thousands people, or maybe more, and witnessing the horse-drawn carriage heading down The Mall. Will the scenery be exactly like what is illustrated from the Disney's  fairy tales? Posh gown, choirs, rose petals, little bridesmaids, and me with a flower wreath on my head..joining the crowds for folk dancing.hehe..
I really want to see and enjoy the poignant moments of the wedding day as a temporary resident of UK. For a moment..just a moment <3 <3

Sorry2..Mood dongeng jap..hehe

7.16 pm
Astaghfirullah. 2 hours and 16 minutes left me but not even a single progress being made. ^_^ (rubbing eyebrows)

Oink2!

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim

[Sesungguhnya entry ini tidak didedikasikan kepada sahabatku yg bernama Farhanah yg busy study utk final exam, in case kalau beliau tersedak =D]

Before anything else, please take your Al-Quran or open any Quran apps on your iPhone4 or Android.
Next, read Surah al-An'am verse 145

Say (O Muhammad): "I find not in that which has been inspired to me anything forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be Maytatah (a dead animal) or blood poured forth (by slaughtering or the like), or the flesh of swine (pork, etc.) for that surely is impure, or impious (unlawful) meat (of an animal) which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than Allah (or has been slaughtered for idols, etc., or on which Allah's Name has not been mentioned while slaughtering). But whosoever is forced by necessity without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits, (for him) certainly, your Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

Eating any pork product is forbidden by Allah due to number of reasons. The main reason is that swine is an unclean animal by nature which is reflected through its lifestyle.
From the virological aspect, pig has the potential to grow any viruses that would normally exist from other living things. It accepts any kind of 'seeds', then undergoes the 'cross breed process' to produce new viruses.
Swine is also fed with human' solid excretory product [aka najis].  In other words, it will consume everything that is unwanted, be it refuse, dead insects, carcasses, rubbish and even its own fellow.

It is very clear that swine is impure, the one that could cause great harm the whole body system from working properly. Nonetheless, why do people still eat pork? It's simply because pork is tasty, like chicken but even tastier [Please don't ask how do I know T,T].

From now on, we should be double vigilant about the food that we take. For my case, please be aware about the existence of Scottish Egg or Scottish Ball (without the egg). It looks like a plain bread dough ball, coated with crumbs and fried, but sadly it is a mixture of pork sausage meat. Confirmed! Woo..

And another one of my favourites is stuffed jalapeno. It looks like this:

Pretty much like an 'omnivore', stuffed jalapeno could be categorized as a non-vegetarian food too because there are recipes whereby lard is added to the cream cheese filling to make it more delicious. On the surface level it seems less obvious because it does not appear in a form of meat. So, please be more selective and cautious about this. Whatever we consume will be part of our flesh and blood, that's a FACT!

Let's raise our concern about food a little higher. Allah is merciful towards anyone who eat pork unknowingly but our responsibility as a Muslim is to search for the knowledge to find out what is halal and haram. There are things in life that we are not supposed opt the path with the least resistance...

Abu Hurairah pernah ditanya tentang takwa, maka ia mengatakan: “ Apakah kamu pernah melewati jalan yang dipenuhi duri?, dijawab: ya, ia berkata: apa yang kamu lakukan?, dijawab: jika aku melihat duri aku menghindarinya atau melangkahinya, atau meninggalkanya, abu Hurairah berkata: itulah takwa“

Erm, korang nampak buruk, tp rasa boleh tahan >_< wekks!

Al-kisaaaah

Scene 1 (in Ipi's room)
Time: 8.30pm
Temperature: 9degree
Humidity: 72%

[Kriukk, the door was opened, Ipi was a bit shocked, luckily she din show me a snarled look]

Ayuni: Ipi, awak join x swimming? Semua orang mcm da pegi je.Sape lagi ek yg xpnh jenguk pool tu?
Ipi: Ramai lagi kot, Ummi, Es, Geng tu xpegi
Ayuni: Saya xminat swimming xsuka.Tp semua org da join, terasa loser la plk
Ipi: Xpe2, sy xde duit so sy xkn pegi, for the time being. Haha
Ayuni: Sy xminat la nk basah2, dh la xtahu berenang pon. Ngeri kot kaki x cecah dasar kolam. Semua org da terer..aa.hbtnye.. sy against mainstream!

Scene 2 (at the lounge)
[Ipi and viki eating Indomee, Tazi is still in her prayer hijab and me drinking hot Milo]
Time: A while back,

Tazi: Fatin pandai berenang tapi so far still kat tepi2 lagi, xke deep end
Ayuni: Oh fatin pon join eh, cop sape lagi ye xpegi swimming
Tazi: Eh yuni ko ni paranoid la.Biar la pegi ke x, xde orang kesah pon
Ipi: Ntahnye.dr tadi dia dok risau
Tazi: Kadang2 heran gak ko ni paranoid sangat. Ko suka pikir benda2 yg orang xkan pikir, siap bagi term tertentu plk tu utk situasi tu.Haha.padahal xde benda pon
Viki: Betul2 viki setuju. Viki pon paranoid jugak, at times when I feel  that I had switched off the lights, I tend to go and check again. Tapi xde la macam Yuni..hehe
Ipi: Haha..risau sgt bile xikut mainstream
Viki: Betul2. I agree with both of you.. [Nodding and eating up her noodles]
Ayuni: Mane adee..[Face turning blue]

Glup.am I afflicted with paranoia? Oh no. But, maybe..erk..I am just expressing my concern towards certain things..em, yes those which are among the unnecessary. Before anything else, let me research about paranoia.

Symptom 1
"They are forever anticipating that something awful will happen, and trying to second-guess what their adversaries might do. They focus on their fears for the future, and take little account of the majority of times when the past has proved them wrong".
[78% related]

Symptom 2
"Irrationally jealous, or believe that their thoughts and actions are being controlled or monitored"
[the former doesn't make sense but the following descriptions are quite an alikeness with my self]

Ok fine, paranoid la tu. Thanks to my house mates for making me realize about this matter. Day by day I begin to know myself better as everything seems to be more transparent. Thanks Tazi Ipi n Viki. There are things about our attitude that we might not see until after someone points it out.
Anyway, this issue is quite confounding even though it is benign. The least that can be done perhaps by being more laid back and chill out. Alleviating, if not preventing it in total.

Paranoia?How could this be possible?

sobs..

These days should be remembered (March 2011)

2/3/2011- Around the World in One Day. From Malaysia to India, Eritrea, Sri Lanka, France, Spain, Japan, China, Vietnam, Iran, South Africa,Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Pakistan, Nepal, Saudi Arabia and finally went back to England again..with one ticket ^_^

5/3/2011- PERGH! 3rd ed@ University of Southampton-Met friends, known and unknown ones with the same aim which was to learn more about Rasulullah and the Islamic history. The unforgettable moment was not during the program though. As when we were back to Pompey, a few local football supporters got drunk. This did not bother me much at all. What did bother me was the mad people throwing eggs towards us- the innocent Malaysian girls. Sobs. That was an absolutely assaulting act ever.Luckily I wasn't hit by any of those eggs. What a waste of egg and what a waste giving birth to such a sick person. Die3!!

11/3/2011- Earthquake in Japan. Allah showed His wrath again with a tsunami that hit north-east of Japan. Fortunately all Malaysians are safe. Much had been talked about the disaster and most of the issues are about the effects. Despite anything, I was captivated by this chain email, which is about 10 things to learn from Japan, from the aftermath of the tsunami.
 1. THE CALM
Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has been elevated.
 2. THE DIGNITY
Disciplined queues for water and groceries. Not a rough word or a crude gesture.
 3. THE ABILITY
The incredible architects, for instance. Buildings swayed but didn’t fall.
 4. THE GRACE
People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody could get something.
 5. THE ORDER
No looting in shops. No honking and no overtaking on the roads. Just understanding.
 6. THE SACRIFICE
Fifty workers stayed back to pump sea water in the N-reactors. How will they ever be repaid?
 7. THE TENDERNESS
Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone. The strong cared for the weak.
 8. THE TRAINING
The old and the children, everyone knew exactly what to do. And they did just that.
 9. THE MEDIA
They showed magnificent restraint in the bulletins. No silly reporters. Only calm reportage.
 10. THE CONSCIENCE
When the power went off in a store, people put things back on the shelves and left quietly!
Aren't these are good for thoughts? So much to be emulated from them.

12/3/2011- Went to Birmingham for All England 2011. This year's was even more meaningful as Afifah joined us as well. Our dream since primary school to watch All England together became a memorable reality. Furthermore, KKK+Tan and Chong Wei shone on that day and starred the final stage. A fantastic day I'd say! Enough to help me conveniently to forget about my course works. Anyhow, pity Afifah because she could not see the oldie but goodie Peter Gade because he was defeated during the quarter finals..Huhu
Taking picture while waiting outside the NIA, with the hope that Koo Kien Kiat will  come out XD

And at the other side of the world, Japanese were suffering of the nuclear reactor explosion. ='(

13/3/2011- Datuk Lee Chong Wei defeated the arrogant Lin Dan and lifted up the prestigious All England cup for the second time, but our Men's double has been shown the exit. Better luck next time!

17/3/2011- Kak Daliya's bachelor life comes to the full stop, so did my cousin Abang Shauki. Wishing you both a happy wedded life and blessed with rows of children in the near future. It becomes more apparent that the next walimah will be mine. Aiyoyo

19/3/2011-  The SPM 2010 was announced officially. MRSM PC leads from the top while SMSPP leads from the bottom in SBP list. XD Sorry dik. Promise to keep the school name confidential.
Plus, the first anniversary of Abe li n Kak Laili + the adorable Lutfil Hadi.

22/3/2011- After a long wait, I had a taste of laksa during usrah. I learned that laksa leaves of daun kesum is actually called hot mints. Thanks to Ummi and Natra. I wish that I could drink the whole gravy in your pot.

24/3/2011-Lecturer strikes over pension + date of submission for our research proposal + SoE seminar. Three events that clashed. The strike began at 12.00, the exact time where I was supposed to be in Park Building, submitting assignment and attend to Nick's seminar. One of the strike members stopped me and persuaded not to attend any class on that day as a sign of supporting the strike. "It is so much appreciated if you could skip class for today and join us at the University House". For the first time I felt obliged for playing truant.Hehe. The truth at times is stranger than fiction. But thanks anyway because it is pointless. I would rather not to be an 'insan prihatin' for them, unless the UK gov is going to pay my wages in the future =)

26/3/2011- Student Union election of Portsmouth Univ. The campaign was launched with more handmade banners were hung around the campus. There were also quite a number of main supporters who put on weird costumes for their candidate's sake. Amy Baker and Lauren had bribed me with tea cake and choc digestive. So, of course I wish that they could win the posts XD

30/3/2011-Meeting with delegation from MOE- Datuk Haili and his three other members. The presentations from a few of TESLians

None of them is one of the Malaysian delegation.  Just because seeing  Gilian wearing baju kurung on that day,  the Teslians  herded towards her like chickens.XD
