Fantasy

Bubble snow..weeeeee

What is so wonderful about Disneyland? It is a magical world that can turn your heart to a little child's.
I am so thankful for the pre-Christmas experience at Disneyland. If human's creation can be so beautiful, how the paradise will be like?

“Verily, the dwellers of Paradise, that Day, will be busy in joyful things” [Yaa-Seen 36:55]

Subhanallah. Not everything is perfect at Disneyland. I still experienced stressful moment for 2 hours queue time, inconsiderate smokers, insane people cutting in lines, hunger, tiresome, and so on. Plus, the ticket has the time limit. The shining lights in the park will be off at 10pm and visitors have no other choice but to go back to where they come from.
but..

In paradise, what we will have is an enjoyment that has no end.

May Allah bless us with the highest Firdaus.
Praise be to Allaah the Lord of the Worlds.

My 11.11.11

If I could make the earth reversing its spin, I would have done so. Yesterday's date was perfect after 9.9.99. Well, it depends on how you justify the date. It could be the sequence such as 9.10.11 or 10.10.10, yet i still find this one is more meaningful. Can we request for year light saver to select nice dates and make it last for at least two days? Sometimes I just can be so silly for nothing important. Being overwhelmingly intrigued by the date, came to my mind was the dream to  watch something extravagant, something that surpassing the usual events so that this date can be remembered. Fairly enough, I got a 'tender' from my friends to cook 12kg of beef for his Nasi Kerabu stall. It took 2 of my precious days, turning my house to smell like cattle ranching ares, swelling of my right hand and yellowish nails. Mama will surely be proud if she could see it. Okay, that is the end of my daging bakar business story.

Alongside all the steaks, sweat and heat, I realized that there were a few incidents that almost similar to one another. I became a third person between lovebirds at three different times which had gradually driven me to a moment of passion upon seeing their love and care. Scene 1- in my friend's room. She was extremely excited to show me an expensive make up set which was a gift from her boyfriend and he was actually in that room too. When she said "thank you sayang", her partner simply replied with a smile. Scene 2- on the street. My other friend and her boyfriend plus me as the third person were on our way back from our friend's house after delivering all the daging bakar. We were chitchatting and suddenly the marriage topic was brought up, and the boyfriend said "nak kahwin tapi ___ hok x ready..haha". The girl was just smile, perhaps with her hearts filled with colourful tulips. Scene 3- at my friend's house, my two other friends who are also in a relationship were cooking in the kitchen. The incident was when she tried to turn the fried fritters, the fat suddenly splashed  to her hand, and her boyfriend who happens to be so protective by nature was panic and offered to take toothpaste to relieve the pain. In an atmosphere reminiscent of  Korean dramas, I could sense their love all around in every single moment together. I know that there's no such thing as a permitted relationship before marriage in Islam. A pure relationship is totally an imagination. We all know and aware about this but I just cannot stop from sharing the happiness for my girl friends who are blessed to meet a guy who is really care of them. To be loved is a gift. It is a rahmah. Not everyone can experience it. May Allah forgive me for not feeling angry or being sensitive. Secondly, may Allah protect their relationship and make it end with marriage. Thirdly, may Allah will not bring me to a state where I have got to roll a dice and never get a chance to think twice.

Goodbye my triple elevens =)

Makan budak

 Monday 5.45pm- maghrib yang hening

Knock knock!!
Someone knocked at the door as I was finishing the remaining of bread pudding after breaking fast. Wait, who might the person be?at this hour? Is he someone next door? xkan lah.Aspek kerukunan ketetanggaan is never being practiced here. =D
Then I opened the door. Bismillah..

Came on the scene, these few caterpillar-stage creatures

Cute looking Dark Witch

Daughter of Lil Red Riding Hood + Mambang Tanah

Hercules's sister-in-law, Runaway Bride,..and err...the amateur Ponti Anak Remaja !!?

Yosh!! Today is Halloween Day. How come that I don't remember? In fact I expected scarier action from those kids but they were actually too adorable. Dressed up so much like hantu setan, hantu lampor and many others of its kinds but sheepishly asking for sweets..with so much politeness. hehe. I gave some for them, but there was no intention of appeasing any spirit. It was simply because of the kids. Some of them carried a heavy plastic bag full of candies- a sign of a long walk from door to door. I guess that would be a stock for at least a week, and their parents can cut their budget for sweets supply once a year. [Even though it might have no effect because they will still need to break their piggy bank to invest on the extravagant costumes]. I was so excited in treating them sweets without realizing the rigidness, in a sense that both of my hands will pass the sweets to them. Treat!!as if it was scripted. I should have refused at least once and see how the kids will go about with their tricks to the whole house. They might prepare the tricks in advance if they are visionary enough and consider that the real world is not as lovely as they see. There are stingy people everywhere. [but I guess they might not :D]. I admire "Mat Salleh" kids because at this stage, purity and innocence comes to being- the precious qualities that will soon diminish and transform to being a stinky hangover.

To be honest, if I were 9, I would rather follow them to collect as much candies as I can, than  knuckling down for all my works in such a colourless academia. Wait for me kiddos!! I'll go upstairs and get my mask!!

I had searched on Google about the status of Halloween from Islamic perspective. Not saying that to my surprise, it is  Haraam. Halloween used to be  Pagan festival- celebration of death. So Muslims out there, we are not supposed to participate in Halloween celebration because it is forbidden. We should cling firmly to Sunnah and distance ourselves from being a blind imitator of falsehood. Thank Allah that I am not a permanent resident in Western country because I might dress up my future children too and bring them around the neighborhood for trick or treat. Astaghfirullah...

Another things for us to reflect, why Muslims do not celebrate Halloween?.
Firstly, it is a night of evil. There's no way for us to treat Satan nicely. Satan will forever be our no 1 enemy despite anything.
Secondly, Prophet Mohammed disliked begging. Solution: BE RICH! =)

Happy Diwali

October 26, 2011 was a meaningful day to be remembered.

For the first time in my life, I celebrated Diwali with my lovely housemates at Hudson Road. Thinking about Deepavali in Malaysia, the day was not more than a day off for me. It was even more boring because most of the TV channels aired Tamil programs- the reason why I persuaded abah many times to install Astro at home. :D Indians were like 'aliens' in my life. I haven't had any Indian friend before I came to IPDA. It is so hard to see Indian in my hometown. Whatever it is, life is a magic. Now I even have a reason to learn spoken Tamil. The significance of cultural knowledge seems greater than before.
Thanks Viki and Kuben for making Deepavali this year a memorable one.We enjoyed Thanks for the delicious curry and sambar too. Ops! I did not spell wrongly.. it was sambar, yes, sambar but not sambaLL. The dishes was superbly nice, some was mild but there was one that made me feel like brushing my tongue.I also was overawed with the amount of garlics, onions and ginger used-pretty much like a huge 'kenduri'.
Anyway, what I want to point out is from this entry is to appreciate the difference between you and your non-Malay peers and learn about them. I believe that life can be viewed from different angles if you talk to different people...and ultimately love will come from within.
The concept cannot be any simpler than "With one language you can read so many books, but with two languages you can read even more".

Commitment

16/10/2011- Malaysian Society of Portsmouth Welcoming Event (behind the scene)- see my 112 pieces of roasted chicken =D

I'm back..! =) I was spurred to post this entry because of my excube mate. That was quite a nice thing when you know that there is someone who actually wants to hear something from you, precisely the continuation of my pointless ramble here. Hehe. Thanks for your curiosity and concern Faten. There's nothing to be an excitement in my life at this moment. This is my fourth week in Portsmouth after my heavenly two months of summer break in Malaysia. I'm here again for the remaining 9 months. Don't talk about time again. In a blink I am now a senior among the undergrads. People can now address me Kakak, regardless of my attempt to look cute and young. It has been ages but I've never attained success to look as such..heheh tsk tsk tsk. Life in Year 3 is even harder that what I expect. In fact, I am struggling in managing my dreams within this very short period- to travel, to manage usrah, to join Islamic programs, university trip, to score in exam, to manage activity for the Malaysian Society, to reduce weight, to practice cookery skills, to fulfill my materials demand, this..that.. Ya Allah it's just like you have a small pocket but you want to collect 1kg of Rambutans, am I using the right analogy here? hehe..which means that you have to bear with the risk that some of the Rambutans might fall down. Quite a few times that I digress, I did something unimportant and ignored the one that I should prioritize, and in the end I was left at the losing end. The best example is about the Malaysian Society. I had promised myself not to involve as a committee members anymore during final year due to so much conflict and unsolved issue, yet I still stepped in. I should have tied my head from nodding when I was being nominated last year but there is no use to regret. It is the trust that I value. For usrah, Kak Jannah put her trust in me to run the usrah and represent my batch. My commitment is getting heavier to be shouldered. In spite of all the additional duties, deep inside I believe that it is just a small bit. Life ahead is much more challenging. Therefore, I should be prepared to face all the commitments in the future. Allah has arranged for all of this responsibilities, but He also had compensated me with supportive peers. Alhamdulillah.. Maybe He wants me to be an 'Octopus' this year so that I can make the most and learn more. Anyhow, I am just hoping that I could achieve as much as possible in this final year, without having any plan to fall by the wayside. Amin

Pernah teringat ayat ipi when she was describing my personality "Yuni kan suka komitmen2 ni.."
Nope Ipi..that isn't true..hoho
Commitments could make one to psyche out ok!  It's all about the voluntary action that is built upon trust of other people... whoever hates responsibility, in other way he denies reality...hihi.teringat line spiderman..not really sure about the accuracy but it is pretty much as "with great power comes greater responsibilities"...fuiyoo even superhero movies pon boleh ada ibrah [pengajaran] =D
